June Mood Board

June was a glorious month.

Baby birds were chirping, grass was crisp and green, and flowers began to burst with luscious colors. The air is warm with radiating sunshine and the aroma of nature's annual revival.

With summer comes a wonderful feeling of freshness.

Some of these include fresh food, scents, scenery, and artwork!

Here we have highlighted three official symbols of June with magnificent artwork to match.

We hope these inspire you as you venture into this season!

Color of June - Light Purple

This color of the month comes from one of June's official birthstones: Alexandrite. Alexandrite is a rare variety of gem-quality chrysoberyl which has a fascinating color change from blue-green in daylight to red-purple in artificial light.

The color purple evokes a feeling a creativity. It inspires us to step outside of the box and explore new ideas while also invigorating us with a sense of elegance.

In Chinese symbolism, the Bull represents perseverance, determination. stability, protection, hard work, and strength. They have been depicted in art throughout the centuries and have been used to protect entryways as they are believed to ward off thievery and other dark-sided powers.
