John has held many roles over the years in the outdoors as a whitewater raft guide, a mountain guide, a wilderness therapist, wilderness first responder, and as a photographer. Over the course of his travels, he has developed the desire to share his experiences in nature with those he shares this planet with. His hope is that his craft can take people to places that we associate with joy, curiosity, and wonder. In his own small way he hopes that his work can inspire more folks to take opportunities to travel and enjoy the wilderness for themselves responsibly. He follows and encourages others to follow the Leave No Trace Principles while enjoying the outdoors.
